Marie - I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in July 2005.
Campground Review
The first four reviews are discussing two different campgrounds. To clarify: Deep Creek campground is part of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park system. It has no electricity or showers. It's nice and rustic.
Deep Creek Campground and Tube Center is a private campground just a short distance from the national park. Some RV sites are on the creek. Only tent sites are on the creek in the national park. The sites are narrow, but there's a nice view at the back of your site. Sites haves electricity, water, and sewer hookup. This is the campground with the camp store, and they do rent tubes. Cheap fun.

"This campground is nestled in the trees alongside the creek. It is well shaded, clean and beautiful. There is a volleyball area, playground, and petting zoo. The owners are very polite and helpful. There are tubes available for rent by the day and the State Park and very close by. I took my church youth group last weekend and they loved it! They have already voted to return next year! This place is wonderful!!"
