Be the first to Ed - I found this campground searching the Internet for a northern Minnesota camping area, and I RV camped there in June and July 2003 and 2004.
Campground Review
This campground is owned and operated by a very capable couple who live at the campground year round. Bill comes from a family long in experience in the campground business as his grandfather started one of the first camping resorts in northern Minnesota called Ruttgers. The sites vary from waterfront with full hookups to rustic cabins to tent camping. Each area is separate from the others. An inground swimming pool is great for all, especially the children and grandchildren. A sandy beach and a sand volleyball court are available. Sites are in trees on Pine Mountain Lake at Bakus, Minnesota. It's a quiet and relaxing environment with nearby attractions. Everyone is very friendly, like family.
