Patricia - I found this campground on the Web, and I camped there in February 2006.

Campground Review

This is a wonderful campground. We have stayed there two times, once in November 2005 and again in February 2006. Both times we stayed in the chalets. We are also going back in April so I guess you can see my husband and I love this place. We both have high stress in our jobs and this place is so relaxing. The chalets are not very close so you have privacy and it is quiet. There is a nice restaurant with a very cozy feel. A large fireplace is in the center of the room, and it is so nice to sit in front of it and eat your meal, or there is a area where you can sit and look out toward mountain wooded scenery. The staff are wonderful. Everyone is so nice. The food is very good and reasonably priced. If you want to cook in your chalet, it is equipped with everything you need. There is a grill outside with a picnic table. We used the grill in November, and it was so nice.
We rode through the campground while we were there and it is very nice. The sites are more private than most we have seen, and it has a nice camp store. We cannot wait to go back and stay in the campground. It looks like a great place to ride your bike. The campground is a distance away from the cabins and chalets, which we liked. It is so nice to have such a lovely place this close to our home. It is only about a 2-hour drive and so worth it. The first time we went we were hooked. If you need rest and relaxation, this is the place for you. Also, if you love to hike, there are many trails for you to enjoy, and there is also Little River Canyon and the Broadwalk Trail, which is really nice. We are going back in April to see the flowers that bloom there. I could go on and on about the beauty of this park, but you really need to got there and experience it for yourself.
