Jeff - I emailed ahead of our adventure and received a large packet of information on where to camp, events, and areas of interest. I tent camped there in September 2005.

Campground Review

We arrived sight unseen last September, 2005, with only the large packet provided to us by the Corp of Engineers. We decided to camp in the state park area of the lake, and we could not have had a more enjoyable time. We tent camped a stone's throw from the water and fished every evening from the bank. One evening we caught six different species of fish. The camping spot was flat with campfire ring and picnic table provided. Bathrooms and showers were close by, but not too close. There are hookups available for RVers. We had a wonderful time, and we recommend it to everyone.
