Campground Review

We have camped at Camden State Park campground many times over the last 25 years on our way up the coast of Maine to Acadia or Canada. It is up on a hill above Camden, which is one of the nicest towns on the coast of Maine. There are 107 campsites with clean, hot showers. There are 25 miles of trails and a toll road and trail to the top of Mt. Battle with views of the Penobscot Bay, lakes and hills. There is also a picnic area that can be hiked that goes down to the cliff above the coast with beautiful views and a great place to eat lunch. The sites are in the woods with some in a big field (big rigs) with great views. It's a great place to stop over or stay to tour the area.
