Be the first to Tom - Joseph H. Stewart is located on Oregon Route 62, I drove past this campground many times going somewhere else. I stopped and found what a jewel I had been missing. I RV camped for two weeks in May 2005.
Campground Review
This campground is located in the Cascade Mountains of southern Oregon. It is very clean and the showers, toilets, campsites and grounds are kept in excellent condition. All interior roads and campsites are paved. The sites are huge with unbelievable distances between them so you don't have anyone looking in your window. All sites have tables, water and electricity. The lawns are green and kept mowed. The campground is located on the bank of Lost Creek Reservoir, which is a deep water lake with excellent trout fishing, water skiing and sailing. There are miles of paved bicycle and hiking trails that take you past waterfalls and other scenery well worth seeing. The marina and store/restaurant/concession is just outside the campground a short hop down the paved path. I am reluctant to give this review because I fear this place might become too crowded to get in.
