Donna - We chose this campground when we were going to Tampa, and we were searching for places to camp. We tent camped there in April 2006.

Campground Review

First of all, the beach was voted the best in America for 2005. I've been to 68 countries, and it is up there for around the world also. Not only do you have the award winning beach, since it is on a peninsula, you have tons of different types of beaches. We spent the whole weekend just sightseeing the different beaches. You can also find beach areas where there isn't another person in sight. The campground has a lot of sites right on the water. There are nice camping, biking, and canoe trails. I don't rave about many things, but I have raved to all of my friends and co-workers about this place.
