Rick - I have been going to this campground for years, and I RV camped there in July 2003, September 2004 and June 2005.

Campground Review

The beach is very large, and you can walk to where it is not crowded. The water remains shallow out into Lake Erie for 200 feet or so. There are many fishing charters available for walleye, perch and smallmouth bass. Cedaer Point amusement park is only 25 minutes away in Sandusky. There are also 5 or 6 miles of hiking trails. Some of the campsites are small, and there are others that are quite large. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources has gone to a reservation system, but there are some sites available as walk-ins.
