Sheila - My husbands family reunion has been held there since the late 70's. We tent camped there in July 2000.

Campground Review

Panther Creek is very quiet. The rangers are very friendly, and the park is secure. They try to assist everyone that is there. We were there in 2000 in a tent, 2002 pop-up, 2004 camper. In 2004 you could tell they had budget cuts. In the earlier years they always had lots of activities for the kids, but the last visit there were not many. There is a swimming pool and several creeks and ponds. There was a lake (not sure of the name) with a boat launch area. Last visit the boat launch had been closed, but the ranger thought they may reopen it. Very peaceful. Lots of wildlife to view.
