Lisa - I found this campground on the Internet, and I tent camped there in May 2006.

Campground Review

This campground is not like any we have ever stayed at. The campground is small, roomy, quiet and very nature oriented, unlike the parking lot feel of most campgrounds. The owners make the stay feel more like staying at a hotel with their personal service and the attention that they give to every detail of the property. The bathrooms were very clean. The tent sites are comfortable, and each site is set in a wooded location. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by one of the owners and supplied a variety of helpful information about the area (some brochures and some written information compiled by the owners). The other owner meets the guests at their campsite to give them a tour of the facility and go over rules. The campground is very convenient to Brevard and the surrounding national and state parks (as the waterfalls are the biggest attraction of the area). We have stayed at a variety of campgrounds over the years, and this by far has been the best.

The Ash Grove Cabins are wonderful!July 25, 2009By LilyHawk65
"Our family loves the Ash Grove cabins. We've been there twice and we LOVED it both times. We plan to go back again as soon as we can. The cabins are secluded and clean. We stayed in the Woodspirit's Retreat on our first visit. It was very relaxing to sit and swing on the covered porch. Our daughter loved the fairies and elves that adorned the cabin. We had a lot of fun. The second time we stayed in Ponderosa Pines. We had more people with us and we wanted more room to spread out and enjoy the large cabin. There was a well stocked kitchen with dishes and utensils and everything we needed. The fireplace was lovely! We always feel so welcomed by the owners. They sincerely care about their guests. They made sure we had everything we needed. The entire place was well kept. We enjoyed walking around the well maintained trails and going and visiting all the waterfalls in Brevard. It's so beautiful and peaceful!"
