Campground Review

We visited Tall Pines this past weekend. Probably not the best weekend in the world; weather wise. It rained, rained and rained, but Gayle, Eddy and family (cat and dog included) made us feel at home. The kids loved the rec room and the planned activities. Tie dying was the best. The weekend weather was a bust, and our luck wasn't so good. We crashed a canoe, got wet and cold, lost the top to the tent, and lost the oars, but the boys weren't hurt (praise God). Everyone was nice, and thanks to a kind person near Rockdale, who drove the boys back to the campground store. They were unhurt, although a bit sad that the trip ended so soon. I recommend this place to anyone that has children. You will not be disappointed. The hospitality is great.
