Donna - I found this campground through an Internet search, and I RV camped there in July 2006.
Campground Review
This is a small family campground in a great location on a saltwater river. Some sites have a wonderful view of the marsh and river. Most sites are grassy and shaded. Sites with 3-way hookups are grassy, without shade, and in the typical straight line up. Some of the sites for tenters are extremely large. We chose a site without sewage hookup to take advantage of a larger site with lots of shade. The only bad point about this campground is that it's near a local airport, so there is some noise from small planes a few times each day. Otherwise, it's a very quiet campground. They have a large saltwater swimming pool, clean restrooms and showers, and lovely flowers. There's also a small playground, tennis court, and horseshoe pit. Canoes are available for rent. The campground is near Route 1 between Bath and Boothbay, which makes it a great location for exploring Maine's mid-coast area.
