Campground Review

There's a great family feeling about Butterfly. Kids seem to have a great time between the activities, pool, game room, and being able to ride their bikes safely. Each week has a different theme that attracts the grownups as well as the kids. The owners take time to talk and get to know the campers. The grounds are beautifully done with shrubbery between the campsites and always kept clean. They have cabins for rent as well as the campsites. The camp store is well stocked with staples as well as great souvenirs. There's a cute food wagon that serves breakfast and lunch that always seems busy. It is run by Don and Patty, owners of the park. Their son Donny and his wife Melissa are always involved with some event, and they co-run the park with Don and Patty. Other parks should look to them to see how a great campground is run. We've been camping there since the park opened with the prior owners. This year is the 10th anniversary of the Letho family owning the park. Six Flags amusement park, ocean boardwalks, flea markets, outlet shopping, and even a Cracker Barrel are all within 30 minutes of the camp.
