Andrea - We received a coupon for a free night stay when we purchased our camper, and we camped there in June 2006.

Campground Review

The two things that mean the most to us are the site and the restrooms. The sites are normal size, but the one we wound up on was an end lot that was rather large. The restrooms were the best I have ever seen in a campground. They were clean, spotless and air conditioned, which was wonderful considering it was 90 or better. They have installed a Blitzen Bay, which is their new pool. The install caused the other two pools to be closed, which was kind of sad. Blitzen Bay is just average. They do have the shuttle, which is very nice to get to and from, but they fill up fast. The only thing I actually hated was the golf carts. They rent them onsite for around $30 to $50. The problem is that there is so many of them, and the even bigger problem was all the teens running loose on them unsupervised causing traffic jams. The streets were full of loud, uncontrolled kids on golf carts after dark.
