Herb Griffith - I found this campground on Reserve America, and we tent camped there in July 2006.

Campground Review

This has become our new family campground. I drove up from Riverside and took a chance, and I'm glad I did. I reserved 3 adjacent sites that were fantastic (sorry I'll keep the site numbers to myself). This is a 5 star campground by far. The only warning I can give is there is a great place to go swimming and boulder diving called the "Gorge." My son along with two cousins and my daughter attempted to swim to the waterfall at the gorge and almost drowned. The current is very swift and pulls you under. I'm thankful there were people there to help. But don't let that keep you from camping there, it's just a heads-up. Also, Pfeiffer Beach is a must see.
