Dee - A friend told me about this campgrounds, and I RV camped there in July 2006.
Campground Review
The sites are large, and the shaded ones are well shaded, not just one tree. They have all types of sites, full sun, part sun, deep woods, and open sites around the lakes and fields. They are well-maintained. The office staff is very friendly. There is a well-stocked store, and they have a snack bar with real food, not just ice cream and chips. They have a nice game room, a saltwater pool, and four lakes. Two lakes are used by the public, one for swimming, and the other for fishing only. They have a batting cage, arts and craft room, a playground area, and basketball court. They are building a bowling alley. We enjoy this campground, and we have been back many times. The kids love it.

Stinky SmellSeptember 29, 2009By Magnum0007
"We read a lot of reviews before making a decision to rent a cabin there. We had kids with us so we did not want to stay in a Tent. When we got there, the roads were not that well maintained throughout the campsite. The biggest shock for us the STINKY SMELL when we opened the cabin door. We called the staff about it and one of them told us on the phone to turn on the hot water. The smell persisted and we ran out of hot water in a few minutes. We called back again so they sent someone to take a look at it. The staff that came in to look at it was not that friendly. He said that the smell is normal as it is SULFUR and it was in the water. He assured us that it was not harmful. That I believe but it was too hard to take it. We spent one night there and we decided to leave early as the smell never went away. When we asked for a refund for the second night, the Owners refused to give us a refund. The lady stated that she used to go to IRLAND and swim in lakes with SULFUR. However that does not compare to staying in an enclosed cabin with the horrid smell. The weather was getting cold so keeping the windows open with children inside was not an option. Overall we will NEVER go back to that campsite EVER again."
