Wildwood State Park, Wading River, New York

I found out about this campground by word-of-mouth, and I tent camped there in October 2006.

Describe your camping trip:

I have camped here twice in a tent, and I had fun both times.

Pros: There are two miles of beach on the Long Island sound where you can go fishing and swimming. There is a camp store on site, and the bathrooms were clean. Nice trails.

Cons: Sites are close together.

I would go back.
