We found out about this campground through our friends, and we tent camped there in July 2006.

Describe your camping trip:

Over twenty of us camped at the group campground. The group campground has a covered area, pit toilets, running water and bunk houses. There were plenty of grassy area to pitch our tents. We had a wonderful time chatting around the large fire pit, which was in the round with benches with high backs. It was very hot that weekend (105°), but cooled off at the lake, which has the other part of the campground and day use area.
Pros: It was very nice and private. We enjoyed the big area, and we had a lot of room to roam. Nearby there were nature trails, but the lake is a little hike. At the lake, there is a swimming area.

Cons: none
Nearby attractions: Cascade Mountains

Further comments:

As a group we liked it, and we will go again.
