I found out about this campground in the Texas Parks brochure, and I RV camped there in May 2006.
Describe your camping trip:
First of all, this campground is not crowded, even when it's full. You can barely see your next door camper. Each site is surrounded by mesquite trees. The sound of the breeze blowing through the trees can put anyone into a restful mood. The scenery in the park is absolutely awesome. The weather in May was as near perfect as it gets. We saw lots of wildlife, including deer, roadrunners, a white snake, rabbits and horned toads.
