Lake Robertson Recreation Area, Lexington, Virginia

I found out about this campground from family living in the area, and I tent camped there in August 2006.

we camped in late August and had the campground to ourselves during the week. It did fill up on the weekend, but the other campers were friendly. The campground was well-maintained. The bathrooms and laundry room were cleaned a few times a day. Staff was very friendly.

Pros: well-maintained, clean and scenic.

Nearby attractions: The area is absolutely beautiful, the lake was gorgeous and has fishing, and there is hiking around the lake.

Needless to say, we all had a great time. We highly recommend this campground.
