Elk Neck State Park, North East, Maryland

I found out about this campground from my boyfriend, and I tent camped there in August 2004.

Describe your camping trip:

My boyfriend gathered up my three sons and I and took us camping for the first time in our lives. This spot was a wonderful way to be introduced to outdoor camping. It was clean, well-maintained, and lots of activities for the children. We rented canoes, went swimming in the pool, and watched beautiful stars at night.
