I found out about this campground on the Web, and I RV camped there in July 2006.

Describe your camping trip:

Overall we had a nice two week stay. The fire ring could have been bigger. We couldn't fit a 16" long piece of firewood in it. The campground has a very rustic look as you pull down the long drive. The check-in office has a little bit to be desired, but it does the job.
Pros: grassy, owner enforced campground rules, nice pool, full hookups

Cons: There was no firewood available, not even in town. If you stay for more than a couple of days, they get upset when you leave a tarp or tent up and it's on the grass.
Nearby attractions: Wet-N-Wild, Atlantic Ocean is only 3 hours away, Richmond Virgina is 15 miles north, Winston-Salem is 20 minutes west.

Further comments:

I wouldn't stay there again for two weeks, but a few days would be just fine.
