I found out about this campground on the California state parks Web site, and I RV camped there in October 2006.

Describe your camping trip:

Very clean facilities. Abundant wildlife including seals and dolphins with baby seals coming up on the beach every so often.
Pros: Sites were just yards from the beach. You couldn't ask for a nicer beach location. People a few miles down the road have paid millions for the view that this campground has for only $20.00 per night. The only beach-front campground in this area without a railroad track running beside it.

Cons: There's some traffic noise, but it tapers off in the evening.
Nearby attractions: Malibu beaches. World famous Neptunes Net seafood restaurant (reviewed by Rachael Ray) ia a few miles south.

Further comments:

We go here at least five times a year, using up the 30 day maximum stay imposed by the state.
