I found out about this campground from a friend and on the Internet, and I RV camped there in August 2006.

Describe your camping trip:

We picked this campground because they cater to tubing down the Green River Gorge in North Carolina. During the season from the campground on the weekdays and on the river on the weekends. We were put in site #1 at the pond. You have to go through a messy store to get to the pool or game room, and what did work they did not have the accessories to use. The staff was very rude. I destroyed my canopy trying to get out of this place. The management cursed at me for complaining about the small roads and no signs.
Pros: The pond and site #1 was a great site. Not hard to find.

Cons: We had to go through the campground to get out. There were no signs nor gravel on the mud/dirt roads. Messy.
Nearby attractions: Lake Lure, Chimmney Rock, Green River Gorge.

Further comments:

I don't recommend this campground to anyone. No one should be treated the way I was.
