I found out about this campground from their Web site, and I tent camped there in November 2006.
Describe your camping trip:
My first visit here, and I was amazed at how beautiful the area was. Being from Alabama, I never dreamed it would be. I fell in love with the area. We hiked to waterfalls and took photos. Bald rock, the boardwalk, and handicap access was nice. You can see the lights from four cities at nightfall.
Pros: The park itself has many trails and outlooks. They have two campgrounds, one on the mountain top, the other down at lake side. Three miles away is Talledega Recreation Area with a lake, trails and waterfalls.
Cons: The bath houses are fairly old, but they still serve their purpose. Their Web site needs to be updated.

Nearby attractions: Lake Cinnabee, Devils Den Waterfalls, and High Falls.
Further comments:
I will surely return. The scenery is great. It is worth the trip.
