I found out about this campground through friends, and I tent camped there in August 2005.

Describe your camping trip:

This is a beautiful provincial park with several sections in which to camp. We stayed in East River, which is an area of no hydro/water on site. Lots of areas for swimming and canoeing.
Pros: Huge sites, our site was considered medium and could have easily supported a tent trailer. Sites were very private for the most part. You don't see the persons camping next to you.

Cons: Paths throughout the campground may run at the edge of a site. Toilets were adequate and a short walk, but odor was obvious on entering.
Nearby attractions: Located in the beautiful Muskoka region of Ontario. There are lots of areas for walking and visiting the many lakes of the area. The town of Huntsville (pop: ~14000) is very nearby.

Further comments:

A great spot for tenting. I can't comment for RV users.
