I found out about this campground at Passport America, and I RV camped there in December 2006.

Describe your camping trip:

The campground is nestled off of highway 80 past Colfax. It's quiet and clean, and there are two nice restrooms with hot showers. They have a nice clean swimming pool, awesome camp hosts, and a very laid back atmosphere. Close to many gold mining towns and wineries.

Pros: Nice friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Free hot showers. Very quiet. Beautiful pool. Gas station right outside gate. Close access to highway 80.

Nearby attractions: Wineries, Dutch Flat township, Truckee river, hiking, Rollins Lake

Good place to go chill, relax and take off some stress.
