I knew about this campground because I camped there as a kid. I RV camp there several times a year.

This campground is open with fantistic views of nearby mountain peaks. It sits above June Lake. Days are warm, nights are cool.

Pros: Very well located to Mammoth area and other eastern Sierra destinations.

Cons: It can get windy.

Nearby attractions: Mammoth, Bodie Ghost Town, Twin Lakes, Lee Vining, Bishop.
