Campground Review from Deena

Guide Rating - rating
This campground was recommended by others, and we tent camped there in February 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

The campsites were very small, and some of them were on uneven lots built up to where there was a major drop off. Very dangerous for children to run around or elderly. Our site number was 2005.
Pros: Very clean. We did enjoy the swimming pool, the organized recreation games: football, dodgeball and the canoe rides.

Cons: It was not what I expected from Disney. We were quite disappointed. We have enjoyed Florida State Parks more. The campground activities were not convenient. We had to walk major distances or rent a bike or golf cart. We were disappointed that fire rings were not permitted at the individual sites. There was a very unsightly ditch behind our site, so it was not safe for small children to play around our site.
Nearby attractions: Disney parks.

Further comments:

We did not go to any of the parks as it was our intention to enjoy the campground and the outdoors.
