I tent camped there in the summer of 2006.
Describe your camping trip:
This is a lovely, quiet, secluded campground right on the Methow River with many hiking opportunities. The river is cold, even in the summer, and beautiful. The sound of the river is soothing, and during late summer you can put a camp chair right in the river and sit, drink and be merry.
Pros: It's a beautiful campground with trees and big campsites.
Cons: Remote for some, but that's why it's great for us. Pit toilets, but that's to be expected when the site is remote. (addendum 6/9/08: "We have had flush toilets here since the 60's. I think the person was a bit confused when they did the review." ~ Cheryl Ethrington, owner.)

Nearby attractions: Town of Winthrop Washington is about 20 miles. It's a cute Western themed town with lots of arts and crafts shops.
Further comments:
My father took me and my children there 15 years ago for the first time.
