I found out about this campground on the Georgia state park Web site, and I RV camped there in April 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
We loved this campground. We camped during our spring break with our two girls in our pop up. We were there for a week.
Pros: The sites are huge. Very flat. Electrical/water hookup is by the road, so your door opens into your site not into the road. Bath houses were always clean. Fully stocked with hand soap and paper towels. We never ran out of hot water even when we were late showering. Camp was quiet. We did talk to the hosts a couple of times, and they were super friendly.
Cons: The noseeums were especially bad. We spent more time in our camper than we usually do. Some might see this as a pro, but as a mom of two little girls this is a con. There are no park lights in the campground to light your way to the bathhouse like some campgrounds have.

Nearby attractions: Savannah, GA and Tybee Island, GA. There is plenty to do in Savannah, and we went to Tybee Island for the day to the beach. We also visited the Univ. of GA Marine Extension Office on Skidaway.
