I found out about this campground in Woodall's, and I RV camped there in March 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
The campground was very beautiful with rolling hills, paved streets and one of the nicest clubhouses I have seen. Very quiet and a great walking park. Each site was very roomy and not on top of each other. The bathhouse had tile floors and separate men's and women's baths. It was very clean. It was a little cold to swim, but the pool looked great. The owner says the pool is salt water and self chlorinating with no harsh chemicals. Our trip went well. I caught nice catfish in two different ponds. There were other ponds, but I didn't fish them.Pros: the baths, washhouse, clubhouse, and just about everything. Nice staff.
Cons: there could be more concrete patios.
Cons: there could be more concrete patios.
Nearby attractions: Milledgeville is the old capital of Georgia (lots of history).
