I found out about this campground from a friend 7 years ago, and I have been going there ever since. I RV camped there in April 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

They have a little over 100 sites and most of them are within 20 to 50 feet from the lake. The park is right at the shores of Lake Livingston. The have very clean bath houses, 2 boat ramps, fish cleaning house, and a store with everything that you need, even gas. They also have putt-putt golf, a new playground that is kid safe, and basketball. The park is just the best I've ever been to.
Pros: The helpfulness of the staff. They really care about you and your family. The park is so clean.

Cons: When I find something bad about the park I'll let you know. As for these 7 years, I can't find one thing wrong with it.
Nearby attractions: Nearby is an 18 hole golf course. About 15 minutes drive is the town of Livingston. Within a 5 mile drive is Coldsprings, where you will find just about any store you need .

Further comments:

There is one thing that I look for in a campground and that's to make sure that it's clean, and I can say that this place is the best. They even have door to door trash pickup.
