Arrowhead Resort Campground, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

I found out about this campground through friends, and I RV camped there in May 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

Staff was very unfriendly and unknowledgable. The sites they say are full hookup are not and vice versa. The resort maps even state the same. Bathrooms are filthy, and you pay fifty cents for a shower that you are lucky if you get cold water at all. Campground itself is dirty and not maintained at all. Go to a locally owned campground and one that is not owned by a corporation as this one is.

We asked for a refund, because once we got there and saw that the sites are not what they told us they were. Not once, but three times we called ahead of our arrival to be sure we had full hookup, and all three times we were assured we did. Even when we got there the staff again told us we had full hookup, and we did not. Staff here is very rude.
