I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in May 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

We stayed at Pirateland for 12 nights. We found the campground to be clean and very nice. It had several private access points to the beach and several activities for the children every day. The pool area was very nice, and we enjoyed the lazy river very much. Our children got sunburnt, so the indoor pool came in quite handy. Fireworks are no longer allowed this year, so we had no problem with that. We found the campsites to be decent sized. We did not get overcrowded at all.
Pros: We especially liked the security there. The guards were very diligent about who came in the campground.

Cons: The only downpoint we found is that the bath houses are not very nice and could be a little cleaner.
Nearby attractions: Myrtle Beach

Further comments:

We all enjoyed ourselves very much and plan to return again.
