I found out about this campground through Idaho Parks and Recreation, and I tent camped there in 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

There are 51 sites now. There is swimming, fishing off two docks, hiking, canoeing, hot showers and flush toilets. Blue herons and bald eagles near lake. Moose sightings.
Pros: Excellent family activities. Quiet after 10pm.

Cons: No soap in bathrooms.
Nearby attractions: Lake Pend D Oreille, lake cruises, fish hatchery near by.

Further comments:

Wal-Mart in Ponderay, small town atmoshpere in Sandpoint. Lots of lakes and streams for fishing.
