Describe your camping trip:
Cons: Super unfriendly and rude owners.
From David Sweet, former About.com Guide
I want to take the time to document my terrible experience at this place to warn others of going, sorry for the long message, but all this happened in just 2 days! 1. We arrive at our site on Labor Day weekend and it was partially occupied by the next neighbors. We needed to move and PAY $5 extra per night - was labor Day, our options were limited 2. I was attacked by several bees, This is true, I could count 13 bee stings after the fact. My husband drove me in a terrible rush close to the lake so I dive in and get rid of the bees. 1 minute after arriving the people from the campground asked him to move the car, they never offered help. Seriously? He was park maximum 5 mins and they never offered any help! 3. Our campsite had dog waste that had been there for long time... No more to say 4. We found firewood on another empty campsite, like we always do, we brought it our place and were burning it. The owner - the rudest person you will ever find came to us and told us we were stealing wood! We were not, there was still more on the campsite. He alleged we brought him from outside, my husband showed him the place, we did not. I told him I knew about the law about not carrying wood, he said: ""I don't care about the law"" he pushed my husband to get the wood. We asked them to leave our place and to let us enjoy our time. This was 1 hr discussion at least that ruined my starry night. Hope you find this review useful.
