I found out about this campground from friends, and I tent camped there in June 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

Campground has 100 primitive sites. Each site has a fire ring. The forest is pet friendly. There is an ORV trail with an 18 mile loop. There are fishing ponds as well as a boat launch.
Pros: Getaway from everyday life with a short drive from Baltimore/Washington DC area.

Cons: Lack of restrooms and bathhouse.

Further comments:

The forest offers spectacular views as well as a self-guided historical tour.
