I found out about this campground when I visited Navajo Lake in 2006, and I tent camped there in July 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

The campsite was nice, but there were lots and lots of biting flies, almost unbearable.
Pros: The creek was in walking distance for fishing, nice trails.

Cons: The camp host was not friendly, never came to campsite, wouldn't enforce the 10 o'clock quiet time, and wouldn't enforce the no profanity or loud music rules. They frequently visited with the campers that were breaking the rules. We stayed for five days, and we were unable to get sleep at night, midday or early morning. Lots of loud music and profanity.
Nearby attractions: Shakespear Festival

Further comments:

Very disappointing.
