I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in July 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

We reserved a site for seven days, but we decided to drive the hour (prior to pulling our 5th wheel) to see it, because we would be taking our granddaughter with us the following week. After seeing it, I gladly gave up the price of the first nights stay in order to cancel our reservations. The place was nasty, the roads were awful (don't see how a large camper makes it), the store was messy and the staff were not friendly.
Pros: I don't have to see it again.

Cons: The place smelled. I later found out through research that these folks have been sited several time for fecal matter in their water (matter of public record). The campground could be nice, if someone took an interest in keeping it up and addressing the sanitation issues.

Further comments:

I don't know what campground they took the pictues that appeared on their Web site, but the campground I saw does not look like the pictures on the Web site.

"We found this campground through friends that have been camping there for years, and we loved it. It has a small campground feel, with the amenities of a large campground. They also have tubing and paintball. The kids love the pool. They have a stocked pond with fish in the 10 to 14 lb range. They have large sites for rvs with a good deal of space between sites. You will need to reserve a Rv site because they are usually full on weekends. They do have a large tent camping areas that usually have space. The tubing is also fun for the kids and at $7.00 a great bargain. We camp there 4 or five times a year and always have fun. The owners are really nice and will go out of their way to help people that have problems with their campers."
