This campground was suggested by another tourist, and I RV camped there in July 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

We rented a motorhome in Anchorage and toured Alaska's interior for ten days. Fabulous trip.
Pros: Most Alaska RV parks are barren parking lots. Bear Paw had an "adults only" campground with trees right on Prince William Sound. There was a very clean laundry room with four private lavs with showers and unlimited hot water. The campground was across the bay from the terminus of the pipeline.

Cons: none
Nearby attractions: Boat tours of the Sound. Hiking, biking, kayaking. Good museums.

Further comments:

There is a private, small, shady area in the "back yard" for tenters.
