I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in July 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

RV camping area is very nice with large sites, full hook ups, easy in/out. Some shade from big trees. The swimming area is a little unkept, but the water is nice and cool. Close by restaurant (Knife, Fork, 'n Spoon) has great food and reasonable prices. Small local grocery store nearby, good looking meats. Fairly quiet except for highway 19 traffic nearby to our site. Water pressure a little low, 50 amp service is great, and sewer hookup above average. We'll be back.
Pros: Full hook ups. Close by grocery. Close by restaurants. Newspaper stand, ice and fire wood availabe in campground. Pretty much quiet even with kids nearby and traffic on highway 19. Fire ring available. Charcoal grill available.

Cons: No cell phone service. Poor TV reception. Swimming area gradually rotting away.

Further comments:

Although it rained most of our stay, we will go back, especially in the winter months when building a fire will be fun. The lack of cell phone reception and poor TV reception is a bit of a downer, but we got over it. Nearby restaurant was a really pleasant surprise.
