I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in July 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

This is a very rundown fishing campground. Not anywhere as nice as the other campgrounds in Myrtle Beach. The bathhouse was dirty and moldy. The campsite had trash and knee high grass. When we put out our awning, it was literaly about two feet from the back of the camper beside us. We also noticed a different breed of camper here. We are used to people riding by on their golf cart or walking by and issuing a "good morning" or a "how are you," but you won't find any of that here. These were the most unfriendly campers I have ever seen. As far as the staff goes, they were ok, I guess, but nothing to speak of.
Pros: Location.

Cons: Very small dirty sites, dirty bathhouses, uninteresting pool area, no lifeguard.
Nearby attractions: Shopping, shows, food and of course the ocean.

Further comments:

Please don't camp here unless it is an emergency. We unfortunatly waited too late to make reservations for an event that we had to be at, and we had to take what we could get and that was Apache. We won't make that mistake again.
