I found out about this campground on the Internet, but camped there for three years. It is handy for us, since it is only 25 minutes from our house.
Describe your camping trip:
It's crowded and too few bathrooms. They've added more cement pads, which upped the price.
Pros: Swimming pool, very clean bathrooms and clean sites.
Cons: They dropped the time you have to vacate from 2 pm to noon. This is ok for the big rigs, but for a family camping in a tent or pop up this takes a longer time to break camp. They have stopped all tent campers from coming in. They give you a reservation for a certain site, then two days before we arrive they call and say sorry but that site was booked a year ago. Not good business practice. So the site they gave us was much further from the bathroom. They advertise double flume style waterslides to be open in 2007. The camping year started with the Memorial Day weekend and no water slide. There were a lot of very disappointed children.

Nearby attractions: In Exetar, RI, but nothing near the ocean within a 5-10 mile drive.
Further comments:
I find I will not be camping here again even though it is close to the house. The mistake of over booking isn't worth my while.
