I found out about this campground on trips to Amish country in Holmes County, and I RV camped there Memorial Day.
Describe your camping trip:
We found this campground years ago and go there approximately five to six times a year. It is lovely, and we never get tired of camping there. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. They have a pool, game room, Frisbee golf, putt-putt golf, hiking trails, a restaurant, and a large pond with paddle boats and regular scheduled events for the whole family. My favorite trip was when they held the bluegrass festival for an entire weekend. It was fabulous. Wish they would do that again. Most important, it is a family oriented campground. It is located in the heart of one of the largest Amish communities in the world. There is a wealth of history for young and old alike. Shopping is a delight throughout Amish country. Well worth the trip from wherever you are.
Pros: Totally family oriented campground. You will find none cleaner.
Cons: none
Cons: none
Nearby attractions: Tours of Amish homes and buggy rides. Don't forget Lehman's, where the Amish shop. Everything from electric products for the english to gas run refrigerators, washing machines, kerosene lamps and wood cooking stoves that the Amish use.
