I was looking for a place, stopped at the local Wal-Mart, and was told about this place. I RV camped there in August 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

We live in Florida and went to Jamestown looking to buy house/land. We stayed with John and Kay for several weeks. They are wonderful. The place is clean. I mean the bathrooms look and were kept clean the entire time we were there. Awesome.
Pros: Bathrooms - awesome. Coin operated laundry room. The best was the Bluegrass bands they had come in on weekends along with John's Dutch oven cooking. Plenty to do for everyone and every age.

Cons: none
Nearby attractions: Big South Fork National Recreation Area. They also have the 127 sale. John and Kay have beautiful walking trails for my dogs. Tennessee's oldest winery.

Further comments:

We have camped a lot and sometimes when your looking at pictures on Web sites and then go to the place, it doesn't look like what you thought. John and Kay's Web site match their place. They are also in the process of doing more to it for next year. They won't get rid of us, as we bought a house there.
