I found out about this campground on About, and I tent camped there in August 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
The campground was a mess. Nothing on the Web site was accurate. Not maintained, everything was overgrown and in disrepair. I have been to a few campsites, and this was a real disappointment. Hardly any of the campsites were numbered, so it was very hard to find your spot. The pool was dirty, and the shaded area that was mentioned on the Web site was really only a nasty small blue tarp on top of two rickety old poles. The miniature golf course was overgrown with tall weeds and grass. The bathrooms were not even cleaned during our weekend stay, and there was only one soap dispenser with watered down soap. Roads were all bumpy and full of potholes. I never saw a hiking trail, and even if I did I doubt you could walk on it, because the roads were so bad. The best was the fishing pond that you couldn't even get to without leaving the property, and it was nothing more than a muddy pool of water with grass that was up to my 10-year-old's waist. No bait in the general store either. Stay away from this place. It reminded me of something from an old horror movie. If you like a campground that enforces quite hours, this is not the place for you. The campground staff was up late having a karaoke party that lasted well past 12:30, quiet time is 11:00. Not so late, but if you have small kids that are trying to sleep, it can be bothersome.
Pros: nothing.
Cons: everything.
Cons: everything.

Further comments:
I didn't see any adults running the place, just a bunch of rude teenagers.
