I found out about this campground on their Web site, and I tent camped there in August 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
This was the worst camping trip we ever had in many years of camping. The site was too small for our family, we have four kids. The staff workers were checking the area everyday. On day two we were told to remove our hammock, because it was a little bit out of our campsite area, that the tent was standing also a little bit out of our designated little spot. Then two days later after a heavy rain they found a few broken tree branches and told us to move out without reimbursing for the last days, or the choice was to pay a $100 penalty fee. The staff was not pleasant or friendly at all. The good part of that week was that we had found a very nice campground close to Story Land where we will be going from now on when camping in NH.
Pros: Private quiet space.
Cons: Very small sites, not family friendly, no activities for kids, no playground, no pool (the water in the river is freezing cold), no indoor facilities if it rains, no place for biking, old bathroom booths, paid showers, might see bear wandering around, not friendly staff.

Nearby attractions: Far from many attractions.
Further comments:
OK for couples, would not suggest for families with kids.
