I camped there in August 2007
Describe your camping trip:
I went to visit family and went in to register. The lady at the desk was rude and very short tempered. She embarrassed me in front of other campers. She then called her husband who told me I had five minutes to leave he property. To this day I don't know what I did to deserve the attitude Nancy at the front desk gave me and what lie she told her husband for him to completely kick me and my three children out. My one child has been camping there all summer registered with his grandfather who is a seasonal camper. This guy watched my son cry as he was being led out of the place. It was one of the worst experiences of my life.
Pros: none
Cons: The owners are rude, the campground is small and the water smells like eggs.

Further comments:
The campground's water smells like sulfur. The owners of the campground are at times rude and impersonal. They claim to be a family campground, but when I went there, me and my family were treated with rudeness and unprofessionalism. The owner needs to learn some empathy for his campers and not look at them like they are only his paycheck.

"We spent 2 weeks during the month of August 2008 at this campground with our two kids (5 and 8). We wanted to spend our vacation at the beach so we did not spend a lot of time on the campground, but we had a nice stay there. Here are my comments : People at the desk were very nice and very helpful. The did their best to make our stay enjoyable and we really appreciated them. The campground is clean. However they are close to a marsh and because of this there is a slight smell from time to time. I must say that we did not feel any discomfort about it. The sites were clean and large enough for our pop up and screenhouse. They have some activities on the site, but we did not participate in them or used their installation such as the pool, rec. room, etc. There is hot water in the showers but you need quarters to operate them. 1 was usually enough but I am slow in the shower and sometimes used 50¢. They are not too busy. Everytime I went there was a free shower and did not have to wait, either in the morning or at night. The campground is quiet after 11 pm. However, it was very noisy sometimes up to a few minutes before the quiet hours. We had a site just by the kids playground and the kids playing there up to 11 were VERY loud. This was the biggest inconvenient we found at that campground. I would recommend to choose a site as far as possible from that playground. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and would go again."
