I found out about this campground driving by, and I RV camped there in November 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

Not so bad, but not good.
Pros: trees

Cons: The site we got looked like it was the road with no table or fire ring. Some sites have them, some do not. The canal is nice, but the canal sites are mostly full timers, and the canal is overgrown with water cabbage.
Nearby attractions: fishing

Further comments:

The owner had me wait about five minutes in her home/office/store so she could chat with a friend on the phone before she signed me in.

"It is not on a canal. Very nice campground. All sites are clean and neat. Fire pots are available for a little fee. Has a long boardwalk to the river."
